Background

ERG, a contractor to EPA, is organizing an independent external peer review of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (U.S. EPA's) draft "IRIS Toxicological Review of Perfluorononanoic Acid and Related Salts" (PFNA). This draft document was prepared by the Center for Public Health and Environmental Assessment (CPHEA) within U.S. EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD). The peer review meeting will take place virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT; Wednesday, July 31, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT; and Thursday, August 1, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM EDT. The meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend as an observer and will include a brief public comment period on the first day (July 30). To obtain a meeting link, please register via Zoom. Observer Oral Comment Sign Up

Time will be set aside during the first morning of the peer review meeting for observers who would like to make a brief oral comment. Each commenter will have 3 to 5 minutes (final limit TBD based on the number of commenters) to present comments. The ERG meeting facilitator will call on commenters in the order in which they registered.
