Background
ERG, a contractor to EPA, is organizing an independent external peer review of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (U.S. EPA's) draft "IRIS Toxicological Review of Perfluorodecanoic Acid and Salts" (PFDA). This draft document was prepared by the Center for Public Health and Environmental Assessment (CPHEA) within U.S. EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD). The peer review meeting will take place virtually via Zoom on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT; Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EDT; and Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 2:15 PM EDT. The meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend as an observer and will include a brief public comment period on the first day (July 10). Comments will be limited to 3 to 5 minutes (final limit TBD based on the number of commenters).
EPA requests that no individual or organization in any way contact the peer reviewers or make any offers or requests to them that are or appear to be linked to their participation in this peer review.
