Please choose the session(s) that you would like to attend. Note that some sessions are all day, while others are only half a day. Please do not register for multiple sessions that have overlapping times. Lunch break will occur from 12pm through 1:30pm for all sessions.
Air Quality System (AQS) 8:30am - 5:00pm
There will be a maximum of 60 attendees, that will be required to work in pairs. Training will involve both lectures and hands-on exercises.
The hands on training is full.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hands-on training course and you will need to provide your own laptop to participate. It should have the following capabilities:
Quality Assurance Training 8:30am - 5:00pm
The Quality Assurance Session will cover QA fundamentals, air toxics QA concerns, overviews of the new Ozone Technical Assistance Document and Data Validation Guidance Document, an exploration of existing data visualization tools for data assessments, and a summary of proposed PM regulatory requirements in 40 CFR Part 58 Appendix A and Appendix E quality assurance. This session will also include an opportunity to ask QA related questions to ambient air quality assurance staff.
PAMS Related Training 8:30am - 12:00pm
This session will cover the basics of operating a PAMS site including running auto-GCs and ceilometers. The training will also focus on PAMS data validation, EPA's PAMS data dashboard, and PAMS QA.
Data Analysis and Tools 1:30pm - 5:00pm
This session will provide an overview and/or a walk-through for the following processes or products:
Vendor-led PM Monitoring Training 8:30am - 12:00pm
This training will be kicked off by EPA, followed by multiple breakouts for attendees to engage with participating individual instrument manufacturers. Training is intended to cover fundamental instruction and background, as well as attention on instrument specific issues, best practices, and a forum to ask questions.
